There is always hope, can you see it? ~ when all seems like it’s spinning out of control, explosions, pandemic, fake news, poverty, corruption,… and the list goes on; there is always a small bright light that keeps us going. I call it hope. I trust in humanity, in the future, in the goodness of people, because to simply put it: ‘all the concentrated darkness of the world cannot out out the light of one single candle’. We live in a planet of duality. Where there is dark, there is also light, with the bad comes the good and from death life rises like a phoenix. I am so grateful and overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of people from all over the world who are responding to the tragedy in #beirut and the #Beirutexplosion. Your donations, your kind wishes, your shares and your humanity fuels the hope and spirit of the young generation who will save #Lebanon from its seeming hopelessness. A better future will prevail. If you still wish to donate to benefit the Lebanese families please do so via trusted NGOs like @sealforlebanon and @impact.lebanon to ensure that it does not end up in the pockets of the corrupt politicians. Thank you all
the joy of being
in the imprisonment…
Never before have I felt so unsure about what the future holds as I do today. Every morning, a new story in the news stranger than the next, wold leadership try to force the strangest and lowest of standards as the new norm and the first signs of tremors as the future threatens to eradicate the past. Anyone not feeling this must be sleep walking through life and bouncing from distraction to escape. How did we get here and what will our children’s world look like?
Today’s dwellings are in and around time. Stories of our lives follow a time line running through today between yesterday and tomorrow. As much as we want to touch and be in tomorrow it is always out of reach today. And so is every story incomplete because time carries it through to tomorrow. The human story never really ends does it?

We can sometimes as humans feel the weight of the world as events unfold around us, shudder at the uncertainty, fear the onset of darker days on this planet, but despite it all, hope lives. Even when just a tiny spark of well-being pushes us on to defy the darkness with light, the dream of a better tomorrow never dies.
