This Too Shall Pass~

This year we have all lived to some extent the opening words of ‘Tale of two cities’, haven’t we?

Upheaval, breakdown of old systems, pandemic, loss, economic collapse, social and physical isolation, poverty, fear, uncertainty, extreme weather, unstable leadership and so much more…

Yet, somehow, something extremely bright filters through our planet at this time, this planet of duality. At the darkest of times the brightest of times have a chance to manifest. Hope is always here for a better world and an incandescent tomorrow. All we have to do is believe and look at history to prepare for our future in our present.

Wishing you all a peaceful holiday season. May we see peace, hope and sanity in the near future for this resilient human race.

The Art of Containment~

Sometimes the world feels so vast, it’s people too many and the weight of it to heavy to bear. At those moments, and if you were a person that enjoys their own company with the endless mazes ripe with possibilities of self discovery, then the obvious result would be a self engineered containment. It can have the color of your own choosing, a palace on a hill or a hut on a beach, butterflies in its gardens or pebbles on its beach, the choices are endless.

So, I travel in my mind to my own palace of containment, letting my mind chart the journey and my spirit project the destinations.

Yes, our destinies can be re-written, by us.

Pushing the limits~

Isolation

Inside of the isolation, there is more space, we just have to find it.

It’s a maze, a deep ocean of possibilities, where the mind can expand to escape the isolation and find the limitless space.

There seems to be an allowance to create, to expand, to magnify and to reinvent ourselves in a brand new world.

Pushing the limits, opening the door, being in the now… tomorrow will be of our own creation.

There is always hope~

There is always hope, can you see it? ~ when all seems like it’s spinning out of control, explosions, pandemic, fake news, poverty, corruption,… and the list goes on; there is always a small bright light that keeps us going. I call it hope. I trust in humanity, in the future, in the goodness of people, because to simply put it: ‘all the concentrated darkness of the world cannot out out the light of one single candle’. We live in a planet of duality. Where there is dark, there is also light, with the bad comes the good and from death life rises like a phoenix. I am so grateful and overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of people from all over the world who are responding to the tragedy in #beirut and the #Beirutexplosion. Your donations, your kind wishes, your shares and your humanity fuels the hope and spirit of the young generation who will save #Lebanon from its seeming hopelessness. A better future will prevail. If you still wish to donate to benefit the Lebanese families please do so via trusted NGOs like @sealforlebanon and @impact.lebanon to ensure that it does not end up in the pockets of the corrupt politicians. Thank you all 🙏🏻❤️

Help for Lebanon~

Dear friends, as a result of the tragic blast that has crippled my country #Lebanon and my city #Beirut and its beautiful resilient and life loving people, urgent help is needed. I am deeply saddened and pained by the lost lives, injuries and resulting destruction and homelessness of my people. For that reason I have investigated a safe way to help, no donation is too small and every little bit can go to feed a hungry person or to shelter those without a home. I am offering a free print (from attached 7 images taken in Lebanon) to anyone who donates to @sealforlebanon (Beirut emergency fund 2020) any amount over 50 dollars. Please send me your receipt of donation , your address and chosen image and I will mail you a signed print and my sincere thanks and gratitude. You can find the donation link on the profile of @sealforlebanon . Thank you in advance and let’s stand together as a human family at this time. https://www.facebook.com/SEALforLebanonhttps://seal-usa.org/beirutemergencyfund/

Time to be Still~

In a time when all the planet is in upheaval, when all that we know is changing, when tensions are running high and panic and fear are the order of the day, being still might be what saves us. Let’s all take a moment, to pause in time and reflect on our lives here on this planet and all the good that remains in us and around us waiting to be noticed. Let’s be still because all is well, at least on the levels that matter most.
