It is that time of year. If you believe in the power of color even a little bit, then you will feel the influence of white at beginning to show up. Something very special seems to happen on our planet at the time of the holidays, so it is no coincidence that several religions focus celebrations around the months of December and January: Ashura (Islamic), Christmas (Christian), Hannukkah (Jewish), Las Posadas (Mexico), Kwanzaa (African-American), Virgin of Guadalupe (Mexico), Bodhi Day – Buddha’s Enlightenment (Buddhist), Santa Lucia Day (Sweden)…
Lea and I feel compelled to unpack the holiday decorations and to start baking and getting cozy as one does on cold white days, because it is a time of contemplation and transition.
Of course, Lea’s main agenda is getting those chocolates out of the “AdventsKalendar” when the first of December is finally here 🙂

You’re so cool! I do not think I’ve read a single thing like that before.
So great to discover another person with some original thoughts on this issue.
Seriously.. thanks for starting this up. This website is one thing that’s needed on the internet, someone with a bit of originality!
Oh, but it’s too soon! Love the holidays but don’t love the weather that goes along with them…
