Someone, somewhere is shedding tears at this very moment. And someone, somewhere is sending them a good thought.
Wishing you all well on a rainy night in Germany.

Someone, somewhere is shedding tears at this very moment. And someone, somewhere is sending them a good thought.
Wishing you all well on a rainy night in Germany.
Day of 85 of 365~
Are we here for the planet or is the planet here for us?
Something to carefully ponder.
Day 82 of 365~
I wonder how much influence the elements have on people’s emotions and how deep it goes. If long winters make you tense and moderate sunny weather makes a whole population merrier? On days like today I want to move to Italy.
Day 75 of 365~
Image taken in Duesseldorf when March declared the return of winter in full force.
To make up for its bone chilling cold, winter sends its apologies with the magical white blanket of snow that makes it all better. I don’t know many who can resist the charm of freshly fallen snow and today I was one of those who ran out in the early morning to be with the symphony of falling snow flakes.
Day 35 of 365
To live and not to wonder about the cause of life itself is like not having lived at all…
Why are we here? Where did we come from? Where do we go from here?
Day 34 of 365
Image is of an old friend in the forest
Today was a one of reconnecting with friends that I was never really disconnected from. Time and distance vanish at moments like these and only the value of a good relationship stands out at the end of the day.
And along the way I got to explore Industry City and Greenwood Cemetery, both places most definitely worthy of a long walk in the chill of a sunny winter day.
Day 24 of 365
As long as there is a sun for the planet to revolve around, time will be our master. We chase it, we save it, we spend it, we waste it and we race against it. Isn’t it time we make peace with time?
Day 5 of 365, Germany
For the largest part of our recent history, we humans find ourselves living in a box of our own making. We have lived in caves, tents, huts, houses, and the majority of the human race lives currently in complex buildings inside large cities that resemble beehives and are just as noisy.
Then one day, we, the city dwellers find ourselves in a forest and we begin the process of expansion. It happens slowly and gradually that for a while we carry our virtual box with us wherever we go, even to remote places and we are simply unable to let go.
I just marvel at the idea of being able to shed all the confining webs we weave around ourselves and to simply be…
Day 4 of 365
Every morning I wake up, I get the same feeling: “today it can all be rewritten”. I was never one to believe in a determined destiny or a life already preplanned, or at least I was always questioning the process and processing the question.
Today, the first day of 2018 of all days, I decided to begin a new commitment, a daily heartbeat, a photo and a thought every day till 2019. It is not written but here I am attempting to write it.
Let the journey begin.
I took these images this morning on a drive that I took to reflect on the new year, somewhere in Germany, where I happen to find myself these days.
day 1 of 365
Magic is never far, it lives in every changing leaf, in the colors that move us, in the smell of an autumn day; all we have to do is look, hear, smell, taste and feel it. The knowing is sure to follow…
