Today I was out most of the day and evening in the freezing streets of Shanghai with my camera. In the evening my friend Sabrina joined me at Yu Gardens to photograph the lanterns and the massive decorations that are being prepared for the Chinese New Year on February 3rd. After a zillion photos, this one was my favorite!
A sweet and wonderful lady who was cleaning a shop in Yu Gardens in Shanghai was glowign while I photographed her. She spoke no mandarin which told my friend Sabrina and I that she must be from the provinces and therefore not hardened by the city yet.
