Day One Hundred Thirty One, June 2, 2011

living in your own bubble

I am still very inspired by the early morning Tai Chi I witnessed yesterday in the street and I keep thinking of how important it is to create our own bubble, our space that we can be inside of when we need to think clearly. It is of course the most natural thing for any human to have this space, and it is in our very design. The greatest achievement is to be able to keep our bubble clean, safe and uncluttered. Only that way it can provide the safety each one of us longs for, the sense of knowing who we are and what we are meant to be doing…

Day One Hundred Twenty, May 22, 2011

Internal

There are times in our speedy and hectic lives when we feel drained, exhausted, worn out, a bit lost, dispersed, spent… On such days the recharging and healing can only come from one place. We are gifted with a pot of gold, it is part of our package deal. It has never failed me yet and it is so simple. It is about going inside of oneself, being internal, regathering, realigning, relocating and dipping into our inner strength. Taking the time to do this is priceless,  because living among the lost is not living at all.

Day Ninety Six, April 28, 2011

nothing is as it seems

This is a musing that has been with me the last few weeks, “nothing is as it seems”…

I was taking photos today and I stopped at the shadows reflected on the wall in the afternoon sun and contemplated again that we actually never see ourselves. We always see a reflection, a shadow, a reverse image of who we are and what we look like. The greatest challenge of all is to know and see who we are on the inside, the everlasting part, the part that inhabits the physical form. For that there is no camera, only the mind.
