Venice Exhibition and ‘Facing Future’ Book: Embracing Creativity in a Changing World

The situation on our planet to do with wars and aggression is certainly distressing, and inside of that, I find that trying to do something bright and creative to balance the energies is the best way for me to remain intact and mentally well. So, as I posted before, a project of the book

"FACING FUTURE" was born. That was a brilliant albeit difficult journey for me to go through all those images and curate a selection from 5 countries for the book, promote it, print it, thanks to Snap Collective and my friends who supported the project.

Now, I am pressing on with the preparations for the exhibition that will take place in Venice next month, at Arte Spazio Tempo Gallery, with the support of Lab77 and all the work that goes along with that.

I will be posting more about the exhibition soon. In the meantime, preparing to drive the 26 framed images to Venice tomorrow on a long drive through the beautiful mountains of South Germany, Austria and then Italy.

  1. I got your book Mimo. Quite fantastic. Thank you so much. I sent you a mail with a picture of the book in my library. You probably didn’t get it…
Best wishes for the expo in Venice… Wish I could attend…
    Tschüß. 😉

    • Oh I was wondering if you ever received it! I am so glad you did. And your mail I will search for when I get home. Thank you so much and I can’t wait to see the photo and to read it.

  2. Thank you for your post, Mimo. Congratulations on your upcoming exhibition.
I would love nothing more than being there in person and taking in your work en masse with others. I continue to be inspired by you.
My friend Haydar, a former student, now in Beirut is working to execute a move to the US (again), this time for PhD work. Am helping the best I can. Yet I know he and his family is just one of countless others seeking safety.
I pray for safety and calm for you and your circle of friends and family too.
    -Michael

    • Thank you dear Michael for your support and for your kind work and help to those who need it. It is amazing how much can be done when humans care. With appreciation, Mimo
