Facing Future – The Exhibition is now Open!

Facing Future - The exhibition is now open in Arte Spazio Tempo Gallery in Venice. It has been quite a journey getting to this point. Here are some 'behind the scenes' shots that were taken during the building up of this project over a decade of photography trips. I am learning that exhibitions are only a short window to years and months of work that culminate in a presentation of the end result, hoping it can encapsulate and connect the viewer with the intense experiences that led to that point. I am grateful to have this opportunity again of a solo exhibition where the work can connect people with empathy, resonance and snippets of the human story. If you see previous posts, there has been so many adventures so far, from the trips, to the years of editing and reflecting, the curating, the road trip to bring the framed art from germany to Venice, the boat trip with the frames, the setting up and finally preparing for the opening. It is heartwarming to have friends coming from different places to be there and the massive support during the setup leading up to this point. I will be posting more as the exhibition continues here and on instagram. 20% of the proceeds from this work will be donated to the London Based NGO Seenaryo to support their work with youth in the Middle East through theatre and play.   [videopress odR6lRSK] [videopress Yncov3Q7]
