Upcoming Exhibitions: Venice & Rome – A Journey Through Photography

As an artist, there’s a unique thrill in seeing your work leave the solitary world of creation and step into the light of an exhibition space. It is in these moments that photography transcends the frame—it becomes an experience, a conversation, a shared breath between the artist and the viewer. I am honored to announce that my work will be part of two upcoming group exhibitions: one in Venice with Collettivo Veneziano and another in Rome as part of Shades of a Woman.

Venice: Collettivo Veneziano

From March 21 to April 3, 2025, my work will be showcased alongside ten wonderful artists from around the world. The exhibition, curated by Fabio Cavessago, is a celebration of diverse photographic perspectives, each offering a unique glimpse into different narratives and artistic visions. The vernissage will take place on March 22 at 6:00 PM at Kunst Depot / Parrucche ai Biri. Being part of an exhibition in a city as rich in artistic history as Venice is both humbling and inspiring—a reminder that art has always been a bridge across time and cultures.

Rome: Shades of a Woman

In Rome, from March 31 to April 7, 2025, curated by Elisabetta Felici, Shades of a Woman will bring together forty women photographers to tell the story of the modern woman through photography. Each artist will present two images, forming a kaleidoscope of emotions, strength, resilience, and identity. The opening event on March 31 at 6:00 PM at Galleria dei Miracoli promises to be a moving celebration of female vision and storytelling.

Exhibitions like these are more than just moments to display work—they are spaces of connection. There’s something profoundly moving about standing in a room filled with people who pause, observe, and allow themselves to feel something in response to an image. It’s an unspoken dialogue, where no two people will see the same story in the same way. It’s a reminder that art is alive, shaped as much by the observer as it is by the creator.

As I prepare for these two exhibitions, I reflect on how vital it is for artists to share their work, to step out of isolation, and into the presence of those who see, question, and feel. Each exhibition is a new chapter, a new conversation, a new way of discovering the endless stories photography has to tell. I look forward to seeing some of you there, to sharing these moments, and to the exchanges that only art can spark.
