Where has the time gone?
Memories slip through my fingers,
swirling, fading, dissolving into nothing.
I grasp at them, but they vanish,
leaving a vast emptiness behind.
Why were we designed to forget?
Then there is the silence.
It tells me everything.
It unfolds layers of unseen worlds,
whispering truths I have always known.
Can I stay in the now and let the past go?
Or does it call for healing before release?
The weight of yesterday is lighter now,
its grip loosening, its echoes fading.
Isn’t evolution a rising from the ashes?
How do we meet the future
with eyes still searching behind?
It is time to turn forward,
to stand in the stillness,
to meet what comes, now.

Yes. Meet what comes. Sadly it doesn’t look good. Especially for our children (or grandchildren for some of us. )
🤞🏻
I still hope that there is a lot of hope and that it always looks bad before it’s good again… we will see
True. Though the ‘bad’ is so unnecessary… Fingers crossed.
