Day 26~ June 26th~ Xinjiang

the girl in the pink window~ Kashgar

Behind her pink window, she sat, she looked, she watched, she felt safe, she followed me with her eyes, she questioned me with her mind, and she half smiled when I waved goodbye.

  1. Fantastic shot!

  2. Reblogged this on FATman Photos and commented:
Another striking portrait from Mimo Khair – for me its as much about the colours of the slightly off vertical and badly painted window frames, and the turquoise curtains too, as it is about the little child half-shadowed behind the dirty glass – but the whole thing works wonderfully. Very striking! FATman

Oh I like that very much, Mimo – for me its as much about the colours of the slightly off vertical and badly painted window frames, and the curtains too, as it is about the little child half-shadowed behind the dirty glass – but the whole thing works wonderfully!
